"Easy Tickets, Just a Small Hiccup"
Umm, overall it worked fine for me. Getting the tickets was easy, and aside from one small hiccup, I didn’t really have any issues...

"Honestly, the guided tour wasn’t worth it!!"
I was disappointed with this tour!! It felt really rushed, and kind of boring. The guide talked way too fast, so it was hard to keep up, and we barely had any time to actually look around or enjoy anything!! I definitely wouldn’t book it again!!!

"Staff could’ve been more helpful"
I visited Fort Ticonderoga recently and, i left a little disappointed with the staff. A couple people were friendly enough, but when we asked basic questions about the exhibits, the answers were either super brief or we were just directed to read the signs.

The place itself is definitely interesting, and I’m fairly sure there’s a lot more to get out of it than we did. I just expected the staff at a historic site like this to be a bit more informative, so it made the visit feel somewhat less worthwhile.

"I went mainly for the reenactments, i’m..."
I went mainly for the reenactments, i’m really glad I did. They were way more interesting than I expected, and I liked that the people involved actually seemed excited about the history. I asked a few random questions afterward, and they took the time to answer them, which made the whole visit feel more personal for me. It made the fort feel alive instead of just being a bunch of old buildings to walk through. I’d definitely go again, especially if I had family with me.

"Parking ended up being more stressful than I expected"
We visited recently — I think it was last weekend, or maybe the weekend before, and the parking was the most annoying part. It took us a while to find a spot, and when we finally did, the walk from there kind of set a bad tone before we even got inside. I had expected it to be a lot easier and more straightforward.

"Fun overall, though the wait times could be better"
I had a good time, the interactive activities were genuinely fun and kept things interesting. To be fair, I can see why the lines moved slowly if it was busy or they were trying to give everyone a proper turn, but it did make the experience feel a bit uneven at times.

"Clean bathrooms made my visit so much easier"
I’m giving this 5 stars mainly because the bathrooms were way better than I expected for a historic spot. They were clean, stocked, and didn’t have that gross smell, which matters a lot to me when I’m out walking around with family. I also didn’t have to wait long when I went, which was a relief. It might seem like a small thing, but it made my day a lot more comfortable.

"Customer service wasn’t helpful"
I emailed them about an issue with my ticket and didn’t hear back until days later. Annoying. When they finally replied, it was super short and basically just told me to check the website again. Really felt like they didn’t care. Frustrating.

I had a decent time at the event, but it felt a bit uneven. Some parts were really fun and worth checking out, while others felt like they needed better planning or more energy. If you’re thinking about going, I’d say go with a group and don’t set your expectations too high—enjoy the good moments and be ready for a few slower spots.

"Fun family day out, even if we misjudged a few parts"
We went with our kids and, they enjoyed way more of it than I expected. The demos were fun, the outdoor areas gave them plenty of room to run around, and it was easy to manage as a family visit. A couple of sections dragged a bit for the younger ones, but I’ll blame us for not timing those better around snacks and tiredness. Overall, it was a good day out and I’d happily go again

"Definitely felt worth the ticket price"
I felt like the tickets were worth it after spending the day there. We ended up staying way longer than I thought we would because there was so much to check out, from the fort itself to the demos and the views. It’s not exactly a super cheap outing, but after experiencing it in person, I’d happily pay for it again.

Finding my way around was straightforward. The signs were clear and easy to follow, which should be a given, but it made the whole visit a lot smoother.

"Nice garden visit, definitely worth making time for"
We mainly came for the fort, but I’m really glad we didn’t skip the garden. It ended up being one of those quiet little places where you realize you would’ve missed out if you just rushed past it.

It was peaceful, easy to walk around, and there were some lovely views nearby. A few plants looked better than others, but that didn’t bother me much. I actually liked that it felt natural and not overly polished or crowded.

I’m giving it 4 stars only because I would’ve liked a few more signs explaining what we were looking at. Still, it was a nice stop, and I’d say it’s worth taking the time for so you don’t feel like you left something good behind.

"Easy little stop before the fort"
We stopped at the visitor center before walking over to the fort, which was definitely the right move. It was easy to find, and the staff were really nice, we got our tickets fast, asked a couple random questions, and nobody made us feel like we were holding up the line.
The bathrooms were clean, which always matters more than you think, and the gift shop had a few cool things to browse. I also liked having a minute to get oriented and figure out what to see first. Nothing fancy, but super helpful in that “glad we didn’t skip it” kind of way

"Helpful before visiting with kids"
I checked out fortticonderoga.org before bringing my kids, it helped more than I expected. The history sections explain the fort, the battles, and what daily life was like in a easy way to understand.
Some of the pages were a little busy, and I had to—actually, I ended up clicking around a bit to find what I needed. But overall, it gave us a good background and made the visit feel more meaningful than just walking around old walls.

"Actually a great historic stop"
I stopped by Fort Ticonderoga after reading about it online, it was worth the visit, which is always nice when a place actually lives up to the description. There’s a ton of history here from the French and Indian War and the Revolution, and you really do get a sense of it just walking around. It’s not trying to be flashy or overproduced, thankfully, just a solid historic site with some really beautiful views. If you’re into early American history, this is definitely a good stop.

"Food options didn’t live up to what was promised"
We visited Fort Ticonderoga and really enjoyed the history side of things, but the food situation was a letdown. We were expecting better options based on how it was presented, but the cafe felt limited and overpriced for what you got. If you have picky kids or you’re hoping for something more filling, there really isn’t much to choose from. We ended up leaving hungry and had to stop somewhere else afterward, which was frustrating. For a place that promises a full day experience, the dining definitely doesn’t match the rest of the visit

"Probably caught the grounds at a rough time"
The grass was looking a bit uneven when I was there. It might’ve just been bad timing with mowing or maintenance, but the grounds could’ve used a little more upkeep.

"I had a feeling this boat tour..."
I had a feeling this boat tour was going to be a good choice, and it pretty much confirmed what I already thought. The ride was really nice, and the guide clearly knew a lot and kept things interesting. My only small complaint is that I wish it had lasted a bit longer, but overall I’m glad we did it.

"Gift shop felt a bit limited"
I was expecting there to be more options online, but the gift shop felt kind of small. It’s hard to describe, but it was mostly just basic stuff, with not many sizes or fun souvenirs to choose from.
